Day 1
This morning you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to the airport for our local flight to the capital of Bayankhongor Aimag. On arrival, in the town of the same name, our local vehicles and drivers will meet us. We will head off in the vehicles to the south and make our way to Mighty Ikh Bogd Mountain, which hides in itself natural beauties such as Bituut rock that's been formed after large chunk of Ikh Bogd Mountain was dislodged in the 1957 earthquake. On the north side of the mountain lies the beautiful Orog Lake. We will make our camp for overnight near Orog lake.
Day 2
This morning we will drive to our camel man's family for a visit. We will be treated to some real Gobi hospitality and learn of their nomadic way of life. From there it will be another short drive to Mount Burkhan Khailaast for overnight in tented camp. Burkhan Khailaast is a rocky mountain in the middle of the Gobi desert formed from granite rock. In the evening our camel man will come to the camp with the camels for our ride the following day.
Day 3
Today we will have a full day of camel riding. Riding camels is relatively easy with their gentle gait and soft, comfortable backs. Mongolians use bright, colourful, hand-made saddles for riding which sit between the two humps of the camels. Our camel man will accompany us on the ride.
Our destination is Bugiin Tsav, a series of large, rift valleys. A number of dinosaur fossils have been found here that are now housed in the Natural History Museum in Ulaanbaatar. The fossilized shells that are lying around would indicate that this place was a base of water.
Tonight we will have tented camp at Bugiin Tsav.
Day 4
Today we will get back in the vehicles and drive to Bayangiin Nuruu, which is a series of canyons with many well-preserved rock engravings dating from 3000 BC. Experts have commented on the futuristic style of the engravings and on the relatively advanced society, which made them.
In the late afternoon we will reach Orog lake and make our camp for dinner and overnight. On the way we will explore the caves known as Tsagaan Agui Caves. These caves housed Stone Age man some 700,000 years ago and have been the site of a number of numerous archaeological digs

| You will be picked up by your guide and a driver and head to the wide, open plain of central Mongolia. You will be driving past the landscape for which Mongolia is most famous – the endless green steppe, with grazing herds of sheep accompanied by lone horsemen, and white, nomadic gers dotted over the countryside.
You will drive for 50 km, which will take about one and a half hours. You will stay in a Mongolian ger, the traditional nomadic dwelling. For those few days you will be living right next to the herdsman’s family, which will allow you to experience the daily life of nomadic people. During the day you can do horse riding or hiking in the mountains and valleys through the different terrains. Also you will have opportunity to taste ‘airag’, the fermented mares milk, which is the most favourable drink of all Mongolians.
